The happening town of New Bern, North Carolina has been my home since 1995. I could tell as soon as I arrived that New Bern was a special place. I've raised two kids, lived in three homes, and made countless friends in New Bern. I can't begin to tell you how wonderful life is in a place where the pace of life is just the right balance between relaxed and bustling, where the people are small-town friendly, and where not a day goes by without a gorgeous view somewhere. I can be honest when I say that New Bern just gets better and better. As a Cape Cod native raised on the beautiful St. Simon's Island, Georgia, I can't imagine living too far from the water—and with two rivers meeting in New Bern, along with the beach less than an hour's drive away, it's safe to say New Bern is charmed. We used Margaret’s service to buy and sell land in the last year, so when we decided to move the NC we called on her to help find a home. We are currently living in Arizona and she found this home suggestion in the area we wanted, even suggested a local lender that was very helpful. All of the home review and inspections were done via remote access via the internet and FaceTime calls. I had to rely on Margaret for this as travel to NC was not an option. It took a while, even the price and other negotiations were done remotely. Margaret worked with us from the beginning, helping to decide on a listing price, preparing the house for showing, getting a great set of photos, 3D views and a drone aerial view to really make our home pop in online listings. She helped get an almost immediate offer through her contacts, and then walked us through all of the paperwork. There is so much behind the scenes work that you don't get to see your realtor do: sifting through interested parties for the people who are serious, or have the funds, about buying, advertising, scheduling and then there's the visible work. If you weren't sure Margaret was working hard for you before you will then. Margaret was there for every step of our up and down selling journey. Every time we hit a bump in the road she was there with solid advice, a silver lining and another option. When it got down to the nitty-gritty she was willing to roll up her sleeves and help us get the work done. Ours was a hard sell, but she did it. Margaret made buying my first home and experience that I would love to repeat, except I love my home too much! She made everything simple, fought tooth and nail to help get me approved, recommended excellent inspectors and even the attorney for the final papers. Margaret helped me find a neighborhood that I felt safe in, showed me around town and even extended a neighborly hand and checked up on me to see how things were going. I was brand new to the area, and I cannot express my immense gratitude for Margaret's professional knowledge as well as her personal dedication, and for her welcoming and personable nature!

Margaret is awesome! She worked out every detail during the very short time we had available to look at property in Fairfield Harbour. She reviewed flood zone maps and answered all of our questions, helping us to find exactly what we were looking for! And working out the closing date to fix our busy schedule, we were truly impressed, closing just 29 days after making an offer on our home!

I had the best realtor, I interviewed several and Margret and I just clicked. I looked for over a year from out of state. During that time I was also compairing it to another state location I was interested in. First I want to say that I am a Real Estate Agent as well. So I know what I expect in an Agent and she exceeded my expectations. She was very patient, kind, knowledgeable and available. I really thought she would give up on me but at lass a house that I saw a year ago that was not currently on the market was calling to me. I love New Bern. I was making a big lifestyle change and Margret has been there to point me in the right directions. Even after the Closing she continues to be a great recourse for contractors ,shopping and things to do. She has become my first friend in New Bern and I happy to call Home now.
