Following my honorable discharge, I married an Eastern NC native and graduated from ECU with a Business Administration degree. From day one, Jason has been the absolute BEST! When we first spoke, I informed him that I was just in the beginning stages of my search and that I would like to get updates periodically but to call back at the beginning of summer. As promised, he did not pry, impose or push to get a "deal" done. He sent me housing updates and called me at the beginning of summer. At this point, I was not ready and asked that he give me another month or two. Again, he respected my request and let me have the extra few months. Once I was ready, Jason answered and knew my number, it was like talking to an old friend! We made plans for house shopping on the only day I was able to fly in. During the house shopping process, not only did he explain the terrain and how certain houses were in the different flood zones, but he provided a history lesson of the town and what make this place so unique. While we drove from place to place, Jason would point out the different locations I might be interested in. For example, we drove by some of the openings for kayaking and trail walking, we explored the area that is being developed for outdoor concerts, downtown New Bern, and other locations that he knew peaked my interests. Once I found the home I would ultimately purchase, Jason spoke with the builder and was able to negotiate a fence for my dog. During the financing section, Jason periodically checked in on the remaining construction of the build and continued to keep me in the loop during the final stages. After we closed on the property, Jason continued to take care of my property knowing I was still a few weeks away from being physically there. Just today, Jason made his way over to the property and was there with the cable guy, taking care of things until I get there. At the end of the day, I have never met a realtor who cares so much about a client, through every step of the way, like Jason has for me! Jason has a big heart and love for what he does, which translates through with the care and dedication he put towards making this a memorable move. I know this letter doesn't even come close to thanking him or explaining how great he truly is! We even made up a nickname for ourselves because it was just that much fun!! Go team JJ!

Our relocating experience began with an afternoon walk in a beautiful town and right into Jason's office. I had spoken to Jason over a year ago about an interest in wanting to buy a home when the new year began. He actually reached out to me before I could contact him in early January. We met with him and discussed different variables we were looking for and let him know we were not in a rush to find our forever home. He easily filtered the types of homes we were interested in so when some came available they would be sent to us automatically. We got frequent emails with home options to view. I can remember opening my email of a home that just came on the market (over night) and we were the first to go have a look.
